Though this season hasn’t gone the way many expected it to for Michigan, it’s worth noting that the Wolverines haven’t lost back-to-back games since a four-game losing streak way back toward the beginning of the season.

For the second time in four days the Michigan Wolverines (6-3) were shockingly upset. This time it was Eastern Michigan (7-2) putting more negativity around Michigan athletics by defeating the Wolverines in a low-scoring affair, 45-42.
The Michigan Wolverines entered Saturday’s game against NJIT with a win probability of 97.5 percent, per KenPom. Despite numbers and logic being on their side, however, John Beilein’s young team stumbled at home and fell in a shocker to the Highlanders, 72-70.
