Halfway Home: A Look Back at Michigan’s Hot Start

Posted on Posted in Go Blue Crew, Michigan Football, Wolverine Sounds
The Wolverines are halfway home, and halfway to a potential undefeated regular season.

Two years ago at this time, Michigan narrowly escaped a FOURTH loss in a row as they topped Penn State 18-13, under the lights. If someone would have told me the Wolverines would be a College Football Playoff contender just two years later, I would have laughed hysterically.

But here we are, looking at a 6-0 Michigan squad that is honestly one of the most attractive teams in the country. Jim Harbaugh has absolutely delivered thus far, and it has been incredible to watch. Michigan is returning home after a 78-0 murder of Rutgers in Piscataway. During the bye week, Harbaugh and crew can sit back, relax and drink some Fairlife Milk.

But they won’t. Even after six victories, the Wolverines still have PLENTY to prove to the nation. Finding a way to beat a couple of rivals is a start. Carrying first half momentum into the second half of the season will be key. One thing I love about Harbaugh? His halftime adjustments. I expect Michigan to be just as good, if not better, from here on out.

Tyler Fenwick and I take a look back at Michigan’s 6-0 start to evaluate where the Wolverines stand halfway through the season. Take a listen. It’s been a BLAST to talk about a good Michigan team.
