Dennis Norfleet Transfers to Tuskegee University

The Dennis Norfleet project is officially over for Michigan.

The 5-foot-7 wide receiver and kick returner is headed to Division II football and will play for Tuskegee University. Norfleet will be eligible to play right away since Tuskegee is a Division II school. He will be a senior this fall.

Norfleet was dismissed from the Michigan football team by head coach Jim Harbaugh once spring practices wrapped up. Norfleet reportedly skipped more than one of his final exams in April and was kicked off the team, although he did have a chance to come back.

With his time at Michigan, he was much more effective as a kick returner than he was a receiver. Norfleet set program records in kick returns with 90 and kick return yards with 2,203. He only had 157 yards on 21 catches and never had a touchdown receiving or returning.
