Jim Harbaugh has landed his first big-time commit at Michigan. Four-star offensive tackle Ben Bredeson (Hartland, Wisconsin) pledged to the Wolverines on Wednesday, giving the 2016 class a total of 15 members.

Michigan assistant coach Jay Harbaugh hinted at the announcement earlier on Twitter.

247Sports has Bredeson ranked as the No. 1 2016 prospect in the state of Wisconsin and the nation’s No. 4 offensive tackle.

Bredeson was once considered to be a Notre Dame lean, but a recent visit to Michigan swung him towards the Wolverines.

Michigan now has three four-star offensive linemen on the 2016 board: Erik Swenson (Downers Grove, Illinois), Michael Onwenu (Detroit, Michigan), and Bredeson.

Bredeson was recruited by Greg Mattion and Tim Drevno.
