Per Chris Vannini, former Michigan head coach Brady Hoke is set to join Notre Dame’s staff after National Signing Day.
Hoke spent four years at Michigan and didn’t enjoy much success after a 2011 Sugar Bowl victory. However he did split his series with the Irish, going 2-2.
Hoke’s projection as a specialized defensive coach is actually great; that’s where Michigan most excelled during his time in Ann Arbor. This opportunity would offer him the chance to get back to major college football without having to be the scrutinized front man.
Per Sam Webb, Brady Hoke will not be joining Notre Dame’s coaching staff.
“@SamWebb77: Just got word from Brady Hoke on the Notre Dame rumors via text. He said, "NOT HAPPENING"”
