Report: 2015 WR Deontay Burnett Flips Commitment To Michigan

Posted on Posted in Michigan Football, Recruiting

Jim Harbaugh has picked up another last-minute commit for Michigan’s 2015 recruiting class. Three-star wide receiver Deontay Burnett (Gardena, Calif.) has flipped his commitment from Washington State to the Wolverines, per Adam Gorney of Rivals.com.

Burnett was offered a scholarship by Harbaugh on Jan. 28 and took an official visit to Michigan on Jan. 30.

A Washington State commit since July 2014, Burnett is a speedy receiver who can make exciting things happen after the catch. Though he lacks conventional size, Michigan could eventually use him similarly to how it used Dennis Norfleet last season.

UPDATE

Per his Twitter, Deontay Burnett has not committed to Michigan.
