After only being able to appear in the opener last season against Appalachian State because of a hand injury, Michigan linebacker Desmond Morgan has been granted a fifth year of eligibility by the NCAA.
The NCAA accepted Morgan’s medical hardship waiver, according to his Instagram.
In 2013, Morgan statistically had the best season of his college career. He recorded 79 tackles in 13 games, including 4.5 tackles for loss. Morgan also broke up three passes and had one interception.
