Tim Drevno In As Michigan’s Offensive Coordinator, Offensive Line Coach

Posted on Posted in Michigan Football

Tim Drevno has officially updated his Twitter bio: “Offensive Co[o]rdinator/Offensive Line Coach at The University of Michigan.”

And with that, welcome to the staff.

This of course doesn’t come as a surprise, given the number of reports that have been pouring out the last few days, but this move on Drevno’s part officially locks it up, and Jim Harbaugh has secured the first piece of his coaching staff.

Drevno spent this last season as the offensive line coach at USC. He has worked under Harbaugh at San Diego (offensive coordinator/offensive line), Stanford (tight ends/offensive line) and the 49ers (offensive line).

He will hold the same positions he did while at San Diego.

Now the attention can turn to other assistants who are reportedly close to being brought on at Michigan, including current Florida Gators interim head coach D.J. Durkin.
