With the addition of Jim Harbaugh, Michigan has suffered their first transfer under Harbaugh.
After meeting with Harbaugh, offensive lineman Kyle Bosch has informed the team he intends to transfer (Nick Baumgardner, MLive). Bosch was a member of a Wolverines offense that was anemic the last two seasons, but could have made a case to earn playing time in the upcoming season. He played sparingly, only appearing in five games as a Wolverine.
Michigan has players to develop that can fill the void, David Dawson would be a name I’d throw out there to watch. Although we won’t truly know who the starter is until late August, Michigan has enough talent on the current roster to have a successful offensive line under Harbaugh. This is more of a hit to the depth of the line, rather than an actual problem.
This is not Bosch’s first time leaving Michigan, he took a leave of absence last season just prior to the Michigan State game. The reasons are still, to this day, undisclosed.
The school Bosch will attend has yet to be announced.
This story is ongoing and we will provide details as they come in.
