Michigan’s staff continues to hit the recruiting trail with a vengeance before National Signing Day arrives on Feb. 4. Offensive coordinator Tim Drevno, tight ends coach Jay Harbaugh and running backs coach Tyrone Wheatley were in Buffalo, N.Y., to visit four-star target Tyrone Wheatley Jr.

Wheatley Jr. told Steve Lorenz of 247Sports.com, “I mean, he’s (Wheatley) one of the best recruiters in the east (laughing), but all three of them came by to visit.”

The four-star tight end/defensive end is still considering UCLA, USC, Alabama and Oregon.

An official visit to UCLA is scheduled for this weekend, and a trip to Oregon is scheduled for the weekend following.
