Jay Harbaugh Hired As Michigan’s TE Coach

It looks like Jim Harbaugh has added another Harbaugh to the staff: his son, Jay Harbaugh.

247sports.com is reporting that Jay Harbaugh will coach the tight ends. It seems to be an interesting hiring, especially after having some more experienced options still in play.

Although unheralded, he has learned from some of the best football minds of my generation, and I would bet money that he helps this team in any capacity, based on that alone.

Michigan is still in play for two top tight end recruits in the 2015 recruiting cycle: Chris Clark and Tyrone Wheatley Jr. It will be interesting to see how the two react the hiring.
