Devin Gardner Looking Good At WR During Shrine Game Practices

Posted on Posted in Michigan Football

The story of Devin Gardner’s career at Michigan is a really lengthy one. That’s because he switched positions twice (and saw all kinds of highs and lows). Now he is really beginning to blossom at the East-West Shrine Game practices as a receiver.

The move to wide receiver has to be a refreshing one for Gardner, who worked all season with a Wolverines offense that often failed to produce.

Gardner talked to Mike Huguenin of NFL.com about his position change at practices.

“This is fun for me,” Gardner told Huguenin after Tuesday’s East team practice. “I’m excited to be able to compete.”

You can watch Gardner compete at the Shrine Game on Jan. 17 at 4 p.m. ET (NFL Network).
