2016 QB Messiah deWeaver Has Decommitted From Michigan

Posted on Posted in Michigan Football, Recruiting

Michigan had just began to turn the momentum around in recruiting, gaining three commits the previous weekend; but that momentum has stopped, or at least for the 2016 class.

2016 quarterback commit, Messiah deWeaver, announced on Twitter that he will no longer be committed to the Wolverines, and has reopened his recruitment.

deWeaver sited conversations with his family and God, which ultimately led to his decommitment. deWeaver is a very talented quarterback who could thrive under Jim Harbaugh, but it is hard to blame deWeaver for decommitng, especially after bringing in two quarterbacks from the 2015 class.

This story is ongoing and we will provide updates as they come in.
