2015 QB Zach Gentry Quite Possibly On His Way To Joining Michigan’s Class

Posted on Posted in Michigan Football, Recruiting

This is going to be a very telling weekend for Michigan’s 2015 recruiting class, with a great number of recruits on campus with Jim Harbaugh and his staff. One of those recruits on campus is four-star quarterback Zach Gentry (Albuquerque, N.M.), who has been committed to Texas since May of last year.

Michigan’s 2015 class is only six players deep, after being gutted throughout the course of last season. The Wolverines already have one quarterback commit, Alex Malzone (Bloomfield Hills, Mich.), but Harbaugh loves creating as much competition as possible, and there is already some uncertainty at the position.

The ingredients are there for Gentry to become part of the Wolverines’ 2015 class.

Should he decide to flip his commitment, it’s very likely that he would wait to go public with it until he can tell Texas head coach Charlie Strong on Monday.
