Gentry is a four-star quarterback, who was on campus for an official visit this weekend, and committed to Michigan during halftime of the basketball game versus Wisconsin.

Michigan already has a quarterback pledge in this class, Alex Malzone, and now looks to be adding their second gunslinger to this group. Michigan gained their second commitment of the night, also getting Reuben Jones earlier in the night.

Michigan’s quarterbacks that will be competing for playing time will be Shane Morris, Wilton Speight, Alex Malzone and Gentry. Jim Harbaugh has quite the résumé when it comes to developing quarterbacks, and looks to continue that trend in Ann Arbor.
