Scouting Report — Gentry was pursued fairly late in the process by new head coach Jim Harbaugh, and not even a full week after being offered a scholarship, he flipped his commitment from Texas and joined the Wolverines. At 6-foot-7, Gentry carries with him better-than-ideal size for a pro-style quarterback, and he has the looks of what Harbaugh likes to work with at the position. There’s still a little work to be done with the mechanics, but with his arm strength, it wouldn’t be fair to say Gentry can’t compete right away for a starting spot.
