Breaking: Chris Clark Decommits From Michigan

Posted on Posted in Michigan Football, Recruiting

The day continues to get longer for Michigan beat writers, as we’ve just been informed that Chris Clark, 2015 number one rated tight end prospect, has a decommitted from Michigan.

Clark was the number one rated tight end in his class, and seem to be a mirror image of current Wolverine Jake Butt. Clark is been wishy-washy ever since the grumblings of Hoke’s departure, and although he remained committed, it was evident that he was looking at other schools.

There’s been heavy interest from schools like Texas, TCU, Michigan, and North Carolina, even when he was a commit for the Wolverines. Michigan will have to do a lot with the next hire in order to keep their commits, so the pressure is indeed on.

Clark announced on Twitter that he will no longer be pledged to the Wolverines, and it is open up his recruitment. Although he’s no longer commit, he is still heavily interested in playing for the Wolverines. He plans on taking all of his visits, and, “figure this all out.”
