2016 4* RB Kentrail Moran Reacts To Harbaugh Hiring, Talks Commitment

2016 four-star running back Kentrail Moran (O’Fallon, Ill.) was one of many recruits impressed by Michigan being able to land Jim Harbaugh. I got a chance to catch up with him to talk about that and more.

Moran is one of those recruits who expressed interest before the official hiring of Harbaugh, telling 247Sports.com’s Steve Lorenz he would “probably commit” ($) with Harbaugh in Ann Arbor. Now it’s looking even brighter for 14th-best running back prospect in the 2016 class.

“Michigan is already No. 1, but yes, it moves them past other schools even more,” Moran told me of his reaction to the hiring of Harbaugh.

It also sounds like it is only a matter of time until he makes his commitment.

“I’m really close (to committing),” Moran said. “Just trying to find a good date.”

Moran told me he plans to get to Ann Arbor “soon” for a visit. His last trip to Ann Arbor was an unofficial visit on July 25.
