Dennis Norfleet Out For Saturday’s Game Vs Northwestern

Posted on Posted in Michigan Football

According to his Instagram account, (yes, you read that correctly) Dennis Norfleet will be out for Saturday’s game vs Northwestern.

Norfleet responded to a follower, who was wishing he would score, claiming he will not be playing in the game. This leaves a whole in the Wolverine return game, and their offense for the Big Ten matchup.

Freshman Freddy Canteen seems to be the next man up at the slot position, and this may be the first time Michigan fans get to see what the talented wideout can do. As far as the return game goes, Jourdan Lewis is one to watch as well.

This is where Jabrill Peppers’ injury really hurts the football team, as he would have filled in for Norfleet in the return game. Now Brady Hoke will need to find a replacement for the “Atomic Dog,” on special teams as well as on offense.

This story is ongoing and we will provide updates as the situation develops.
