BREAKING: 2015 4-Star LB Darrin Kirkland Jr. Decommits From Michigan

Posted on Posted in Michigan Football, Recruiting

Darrin Kirkland Jr. has become the latest Michigan Wolverines pledge to decommit from the program in recent months.

Kirkland Jr. is a four-star linebacker prospect that has a serious upside, but as on today, the Wolverines are out of the race for his commitment. According to Tom VanHaaren, Kirkland is considering Ole Miss, Texas, Oklahoma, USC, Virginia Tech, and Kentucky.

Michigan’s recruiting class has taken a serious hit this season, whether it be uncertainty in the coaching staff, the former Athletic Director, or the total losses this season, and they need to clean up this never ending mess soon. Michigan has serious holes to fill in the upcoming seasons, and if they want to stop the bleeding, high profile recruits sure can help, losing them can only hurt them more.

This story is ongoing and we will provide updates as the story progresses.
