Michigan Basketball Coach John Beilein Backs Brady Hoke

Posted on Posted in Michigan Basketball, Michigan Football

Michigan basketball head coach John Beilein is to the go-to guy anymore when fans of the Wolverines want to find a silver lining in the athletics department, and you get the feeling he senses that. Today (Thursday), Beilein opened up his press conference by getting behind Michigan football head coach Brady Hoke.

“If my sons were high school football players, I would love for them to play for Brady Hoke and his staff.”

Beilein went on to say that he exchanges messages with Hoke regularly, telling him he’s “been through this over 40 years and to stay positive.”

Of course, staying positive—even if unwarranted—is something you can’t say Hoke doesn’t do. His Wolverines will face off with Rutgers at 7:00 p.m. ET on BTN.

  1. OK coach, high school maybe, but division 1 college football – no way I choose Hoke and this staff.
