Michigan vs. Notre Dame: Twitter Overreactions

Posted on Posted in Michigan Football

Last night was ugly, and that’s putting it lightly. Considering every encouraging sign we saw the previous week, I had higher expectations for the final matchup between Michigan and Notre Dame. The only thing we can really hope for after something like that: Maybe it was a good learning experience, and the team can move forward from there. Notice how I didn’t say “leap” forward or “hurl” forward—I said “move” forward. Progress is progress, and I would take it.

Anyway, after scrolling through TheBigHouseReport.com’s Twitter mentions during the game, I decided it would be a good idea to run a feature every Sunday with some of the best overreactions from the game. Here’s your inaugural edition of: “Twitter Overreactions.”

I’m not sure if TBHR is down one fan or if Brady Hoke is down one fan. It might actually be a little bit of both.

I do understand where the anger is coming from. Watching Michigan get walloped last night by Notre Dame was an incredibly sad sight. But surely there is something we could do short of leveling The Big House.

Because firing a head coach two games into the season is sure to fix all the woes.

I guess this isn’t really an overreaction. I’m assuming he played like a “shit bag,” but I honestly won’t jump to conclusions.

That’ll do it for this Sunday’s edition of Twitter Overreactions. I sure hope we don’t have to go through a game like yesterday against the Irish, but it should it come to that again sometime this season, let’s keep a level-headed approach when on social media.
