Michigan Football Recruiting: Week 4 Visitors

The Michigan Wolverines will host the Utah Utes this Saturday afternoon in what will be the Wolverines’ toughest home game yet. For a bigger opponent this week, the Wolverines will also host several recruiting targets from the classes of 2015, 2016 and 2017. Here is the list for this weekend.

2015 Commits

OL Jon Runyan, Jr. (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), via Detroit Free Press

Runyan is a three-star recruit from who committed to the Wolverines back in June 2013.   He is a 6-foot-4, 276-pound offensive lineman who possesses good footwork, is very athletic and is technically sound. Tomorrow will be Runyan’s first official visit.

WR Brian Cole (Saginaw, Michigan), via Tim Sullivan

QB Alex Malzone (Bloomfield Hills, Michigan), via Tim Sullivan

RB Mike Weber (Detroit, Michigan), vai Tim Sullivan

DE Jack Dunaway (Bloomfield Hills, Michigan), via Tim Sullivan

2016 Prospects

WR Donnie Corley (Wyandotte, Michigan), via Detroit Free Press

The 6-foot-1, 170-pound junior is ranked as the No. 43 player in the nation according to 247 Composite rankings. Corley has outstanding ball skills and very reliable hands.   He is a four-star recruit and is being sought after by many other schools.

LB Brendan Ferns (Saint Clairsville, Ohio), via Detroit Free Press

Ferns, a four-star outside linebacker will be in attendance at The Big House on Saturday. He is listed as the 6th-ranked outside linebacker on Scout.com. The 6-foot-3, 225-pound Ohio native is off to a great start to his junior year. Michigan is hoping the fact that his brother Michael Ferns plays for them will attract him to the Wolverines.

RB Matthew Falcon (Southfield, Michigan), via Tom VanHaaren

Falcon, a four-star running back, will be making his second straight appearance at The Big House.

OL Nik Urban (Willoughby, Ohio)

According to his own Twitter page (@Nikurbs73) he will be attending the Michigan game tomorrow. Urban is 6-foot-4 and weighs 280 pounds. He is a three-star offensive lineman. Although he has told Maize n Brew’s Anthony Broome that Duke is at the top of his list, but he had a great time at the Michigan camp this summer.

WR Kaleb Perry (Mount Pleasant, Michigan), via Tim Sullivan

2017 Prospects

DE Corey Malone-Hatcher (Saint Joseph, Michigan)

This rising defensive end is said to be coming to Ann Arbor Saturday according to the Twitter page of Coach Malone (@orlando_Malone).  At 6-foot-3, 235 pounds, Malone is a four-star recruit. This will not be his first visit to Michigan; he was already there earlier this year and really enjoyed his time spent at the Michigan facilities. According to 247sports, he is ranked 3rd at his position and 104th in the Top247.
