Michigan Football Recruiting: Week 3 Visitors List

Posted on Posted in Michigan Football, Recruiting

This Saturday the Michigan Wolverines will host the Miami (OH) RedHawks in The Big House. Home games always attract recruiting targets, whether they are committed to the school or still weighing out their options. Here is a list of Michigan recruits that will be in Ann Arbor this weekend for the game.

2015 WR/ATH Brian Cole (via Tim Sullivan)

2015 QB Alex Malzone (via Steve Lorenz of 247sports.com)
Malzone is a four-star pro-style quarterback from Bloomfield Hills, MI, who gave a verbal commitment to the Wolverines back in May. He is 6-foot-2, 200 pounds and runs the 40-yard dash in 5.1 seconds. He has great pocket presence and has all the intangibles to become a great quarterback. Malzone was selected to play in The Opening, which is the premier summer showcase for high school recruits, this past July. He is extremely excited to join the Michigan football team and is trying to help get other top recruits to commit to play along side of him.

2015 RB Mike Weber (maybe, via Steve Lorenz)
Weber is a four-star running back from Detroit, MI, for the class of 2015. He is 5-foot-10 and weighs 205 pounds. Weber has tremendous speed and vision and will be a great addition to a struggling running attack. He committed on Aug. 6 and was recruited by running backs coach Fred Jackson and offensive coordinator Doug Nussmeier. Weber is considering joining the Wolverines early by enrolling this January. By doing so, he will be able to attend spring practices and get an early start to learning the new play book.

2015 S Tyree Kinnel (via Tyree Kinnel on Twitter)
Kinnel is a class of 2015 four-star safety from Dayton, OH. He possesses great ball skills and closing speed. At 6-foot-10, 190 pounds, Kinnel’s strengths also include instincts, tackling and overall speed. This summer he was named the defensive back MVP at the Rivals Camp Series in Columbus, OH, and was also invited to attend the Rivals100 Five Star Challenge. Kinnel committed to Michigan just a few weeks ago and has said on his Twitter page that he will be in Ann Arbor on Saturday.

2015 Prospects

DE Jack Dunaway (via Steve Lorenz)
A class of 2015 strong side defensive end, Dunaway stands 6-foot-3, 212 pounds. He is a teammate of Alex Malzone at Brother Rice. At the current moment he is uncommitted but is expected to become a walk-on with the Wolverines next year.

WR Grant Perry (via Steve Lorenz)
Perry is another teammate of Alex Malzone at Brother Rice. He is a three-star wide receiver who is 6-foot and 185 pounds. Perry attended the BBQ at The Big House this summer and now will come back to experience a game in the nation’s largest football stadium.

2016 Prospects

Eric Rogers (via Steve Lorenz)
Rogers is a class of 2016 four-star inside linebacker from Warren, MI. He will be taking an unofficial visit to The Big House this weekend. The 6-foot-1, 225 linebacker is the seventh ranked player at his position in the nation.
