Is Michigan Going To Nab A 5-Star Offensive Tackle From Ohio?

Posted on Posted in Michigan Football, Polls, Recruiting

Yesterday night, Steven Wiltfong of 247Sports.com reported that 2016 five-star offensive tackle Tommy Kraemer (Cincinnati, Ohio) was offered by the Michigan Wolverines, giving the nation’s first-ranked offensive lineman 13 total offers, four of which coming from the Big Ten.

Kraemer was visited visited by a Michigan coach back in April but hasn’t been to Ann Arbor. Notre Dame and Ohio State are currently atop the list for Kraemer, but as he told Wiltfong, he doesn’t know where Michigan fits in right now, though he plans on looking into it a little more.

Growing up a Michigan fan, Kraemer told Michael Rockstedt of MenOfTheScarletAndGray.com that he actually prefers not to tell people.

Now that Michigan has officially thrown itself into this mix on one of the top players in the class of 2016, there’s no telling what kind of spike we could see sometime down the road, especially now that Kraemer has something to work with.
