Good Morning, Go Blue: Week 3

Posted on Posted in Michigan Football

Our “Good Morning, Go Blue” Saturday morning feature is going to hook you up with all the coverage we’ve done throughout the week here, as well as give you Twitter handles to keep in mind on game days, some notable news (from TBHR and Michigan) and maybe even some fun facts.

Our coverage this week:

We opened our weekly opponent coverage by giving you a history lesson in the five-game series between Michigan and Miami (OH). Hint: It favors the Wolverines.

Did you know the RedHawks have lost 18 consecutive games, dating back to the 2012 season?

Despite a less-than-stellar 0-2 start to open the 2014 season, there’s one RedHawks player who could pose a threat for the Wolverines this afternoon. He was the center of this week’s Matchup Of The Game.

Some big names are going to be in attendance for today’s game, including Alex Malzone and Mike Weber. Who else is planning on being at The Big House Today? Check it out.

And finally, we have you covered with our complete preview of today’s game.

Must-follow Twitter users on game day:

@DavidMormino is going to have you hooked up with a live-tweet of today’s game.

Our grandfather (the founder of TBHR), @JoshuaHenschke, is going to be up in the press box tomorrow for Maize n Brew.

@DrewCHallett is going to be feeding his timeline with great stats before, during and after the game.

And if you’re wanting to keep up with the enemy, @TheMovieGent does an excellent job with Miami for Hustle Belt.

In Case You Missed It:

In case you missed it, we know what Michigan’s secondary is (probably) going to look like today, but there’s no telling how it’s going to hold up.

You guys are apparently worried about this team—I mean very worried.

And when asked if you think Michigan Stadium will host less than 100,000 people at some point this season, you’re almost split down the middle.

TBHR added a new member to the family! Patrick Connors is now part of the crew. Say hi to him on Twitter.

Did you know?

Did you know that, in five total meetings, Michigan has outscored Miami (OH) 176-48? That’s a fairly lopsided series.
