The Big Ten Conference and University of Michigan basketball program announced today the official 2014-15 conference slate of games which included all of the dates and opponents the Wolverines will face this year.
Michigan will open Big Ten play on Dec. 30 against Illinois at home. They will also host rivals Michigan State and Ohio State in consecutive games on Feb. 17 and 22, respectively.
There will be five home and home series, including Illinois, Michigan State, Ohio State, Northwestern and Rutgers. Single game home opponents are Minnesota, Nebraska, Iowa and Wisconsin. The single game road opponents are Purdue, Penn State, Indiana and Maryland.
With Rutgers and Maryland joining the conference, an extra day has been added to the Big Ten Tournament, which will kick off on March 11 in Chicago.
