Marcus Lewis Decommits From Florida; Many Consider UM New Leader

Posted on Posted in Michigan Football, Recruiting

Earlier this morning Marcus Lewis decommitted from Florida, he is now considered by many to have the Wolverines as his leader after the annual barbecue on Sunday.

Lewis has opened up his recruitment and Michigan is in good standing with him. Alex Malzone has been actively recruiting Lewis on twitter as well, so there is definite interest between the two, and landing another high profile recruit this week would be huge for this class.

Lewis is a player for Michigan fans to look out for, he enjoyed his time in Ann Arbor, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it wasn’t his last visit there. He could be a key player in their class, and with his recruitment opening up, I expect the Wolverines to go after him hard.
