Chris Clark Commits to Michigan

Posted on Posted in Recruiting

The University of Michigan football program grabbed their first tight end of the 2015 recruiting cycle on Thursday afternoon with the announcement that Chris Clark (Avon, OH) has committed to the school.

Clark is a four-star prospect and the second-ranked tight end in the class of 2015. The Wolverines had stiff competition for his services from Ohio State and Michigan State.

The original plan was for him to make a college decision in early July at Nike’s The Opening event in Oregon. Now, Clark will go there trying to add some more big names to the 2015 class of Wolverines.

Michigan will likely take two tight ends in this class. The leasing candidate for that second spot appears to be four-star Tyrone Wheatley Jr., but we’ll see what happens.
