Former Alabama Lineman Chad Lindsay To Visit Michigan This Weekend

It was reported late last month that the Michigan Wolverines were looking to add an offensive line transfer from the Alabama Crimson Tide, offensive coordinator Doug Nussmeier’s former employer. It now appears that it may be a step closer to happening.

Chad Lindsay, an offensive guard, will be visiting Michigan this weekend during the annual Spring Game at Michigan Stadium, according to CBS Sports’ Jeremy Fowler.

Lindsay, who has one year of eligibility remaining, has graduated from Alabama and would be eligible to play immediately. He played in eight games, starting four at center, for the Crimson Tide last season under Nussmeier, so the connection to Michigan is there.

With Graham Glasgow suspended for a portion of spring practices and the opener against Appalachian State, the Wolverines would likely be able to throw Lindsay into the mix to start that first game at center, along with redshirt junior Jack Miller and redshirt freshman Patrick Kugler.
