Update 3/12/14: Hilliard told TBHR earlier today that he will probably be headed up to Ann Arbor on Saturday. His goal for the visit is to keep building a relationship with the players and coaches and get a closer look at the campus.

It has been widely speculated that the Michigan Wolverines were going to get a couple of high profile recruits to visit this coming weekend, and it appears that we have one name now: 2015 five-star linebacker Justin Hilliard, according to Steve Lorenz of 247Sports.com

Hilliard, from St. Xavier High School in Cincinatti, Ohio, is a the top-ranked outside linebacker in this class and the 14th overall player in the country, according to 247 Sports.

He has been visited twice recently by coach Mark Smith and has taken three unofficial trips up to Ann Arbor, the most recent of which came when the Wolverines took on the Ohio State Buckeyes at the Big House.

Hilliard was offered on June 17, 2013 after attending a camp hosted by the Wolverines.

Former TBHR editor-in-chief Josh Henschke spoke to Hilliard in January about the recruiting process, which you can find here. You can also check out The Big House Report’s profile on Hilliard here.
