As most of you may know, I recently took a position with GBMWolverine.com to be their recruiting analyst. I am hoping this post can clear up any possible questions regarding me and the future of this website.
1) So, you’re a recruiting analyst now. Does this mean you’re like Tom VH or Sam Webb? NO! Those two men are in a league of their own when it comes to Michigan recruiting. They are at the top of totem pole. My job is to talk to as many commits or recruits with Michigan interest as I can, and pass along the information I see or receive. I am not trying to be someone I’m not, and I don’t pretend to have any insider information. College recruiting is a hobby, and I treat it as such.
2) GBMWolverine is pretty similar to your site, does this mean The Big House Report is going away? Absolutely 100% NO! I created this website to deliver the best Michigan news that I can. Since TBHR was never a recruiting focused site (I only reported NEWS of commits) GBMW and TBHR are two separate entities that will not overlap news that I post.
3) But, Josh. How will you separate the two websites? Easy, I have determined a way to separate what content will be published on which website. Are you ready for this? It’s really difficult to keep up. Anything that is regarding Michigan news/games will go here. Anything recruiting related will go to GBMW. Okay, maybe I lied. It’s not that difficult. You get the drift.
4) Does this mean your Twitter handle is going to change? Or that you’ll be using Twitter less? NO! Twitter is always going to be the best way for me to get information out and for people to ask my questions. Like I said previously, I don’t pretend to be someone I’m not. I’m going to give you truthful answers if I know them, or give you opinions when I can. As always, you can follow me at @JoshuaHenschke!
This is an exciting time for me. I hope you continue on the journey with me on both websites. Thank you as always for the support you have given me in the short time this website has been in existence. Without my supporters, opportunities like recruiting analyst positions would not exist for me.
