Target Acquired: Willie Henry

After recent losses on the recruiting trail, Michigan fans have been left licking their wounds. This news may perk up our spirits a little bit.

’12 3* DT Willie Henry (Glenville HS) has verballed to the Wolverines just before signing day. Henry is listed as 6-3 273 pounds, and according to his Scout profile, he will need to bulk up in size. Scout describes Henry as follows:

“Henry is an athletic player who is light on his feet, has good coordination and closing speed. He is disruptive and gets good penetration because he has good get off. He shows a good motor and foot speed in pursuit. He has to add some bulk and strength to be able to anchor against the run, but he flashes, makes some big plays in the backfield and is a good interior pass rusher.”

Henry is also listed as the #38 DT in his class.
