Target Acquired: Amara Darboh

Underneath the festivities of a BCS Bowl game selection, Brady Hoke received news that could be considered icing to his celebratory Sunday cake.

Four-star wide receiver Amara Darboh from Des Moines, Iowa has committed to Hokemania and is the 24th recruit to join the 2012 class.

Darboh has been clocked with a 4.42 40 yard dash, and is listed at 6’2 200 lbs. Perfect size for a wide receiver of Darboh’s caliber to fit into a Borges system.

The only item of concern may be fears of a nagging shoulder injury (separated shoulder) that Darboh suffered this year seven games into the season. Though Darboh did manage to haul in 48 catches for 765 yards and 11 TD’s in his abbreviated Senior year.

With Roundtree, Stonum, Gallon and Dileo all returning, look for Darboh to see a redshirt his Freshman year and to return in 2013 with high expectations of being that “go-to” receiver.
